And he said to them, “As you go into all the world, preach openly the wonderful news of the gospel to the entire human race! Mark 16:15 (TPT)

Have you noticed how fragile the world feels lately? Sometimes I feel like Elisha’s servant waking up to an army surrounding the city — overwhelmed by what I see and convinced defeat is inevitable.

The Lord provoked me to shake myself and look again. He asked me this question, “Do you believe in the power of the gospel?” To which I immediately replied, “Yes!” But I know deep in my heart that that is only partially true. I believe the gospel in theory. I believe God heals, delivers, and transforms. But circumstances have a way of exposing the places where my heart still lives in fear instead of faith.

It is hard to admit that, at times, as a believer, I still struggle to believe. There is a real tension between what I know to be true about God and what I have experienced in life. Yes, I have stories of miracles, divine provision, and supernatural intervention, but I also carry unanswered prayers that keep stacking up — sickness, broken relationships, and financial strain, all things God promised to redeem yet remain unresolved for me.

Maybe you are like me, still waiting to see the gospel fully revealed in your life. This I do know for sure: my experience is not the final conclusion. But this I know for certain: nothing is impossible for God. He actually loves the difficult cases because they give Him the opportunity to reveal the strength of His character and nature. He has not left us powerless or without resources. Across the earth, He is still healing, saving, restoring, and revealing His kingdom. The gospel has not lost its power — but we must choose whether we will truly believe it in our own lives.

God is waiting to demonstrate the power of the gospel in our lives today. You and I were not put on the planet by accident. We have the privilege of being alive at this moment in history. We get to make the earth look more like heaven than hell. It is time to see ourselves as carriers of this great gospel and to reveal the goodness of God wherever we are! The world is waiting for us to believe what we preach.

The world is waiting for believers who do more than speak hope — it is waiting for people who carry it.
